What is a channel and its types?

A channel digital marketing is a pathway of good services, information to provide a source to one place to another place. There of three primary types of channels in provider of service, products & information which communicate transfer information.

Three type channel names.

1.Distribustion channels. 2.Communication channels. 3.Technical or Digital channel.

Distribution channel – Channel digital marketing Our Brands and products selling without persons and more include intermediaries.

There are three types of distribution channels.

  • Direct channel- Channel digital marketing Our Brands and products selling without intermediaries.
  • Indirect channel- Channel digital marketing Our Brands and products selling one and more then intermediaries.

One level-retailer– consumer

Two level-wholesale-retailer- consumer.

Three level-agent – wholesale- retailer- consumer

  • Hybrid channel- A business uses multiple channels to reach a customer . which can include combination  direct and indirect methods.

Telecom communication and network.

Telecommunication and networking channels refer to a physical transmission medium or logical connection  transferring data.

Physical channels – Wireless media like twist pair copper wire.

Wireless channel – Without wire communication in an audience and people are providing information . exam. Wifi,redio.satellite etc.

Logical/virtual channel – Channel digital marketing is the use of technology to provide information in our brand and product and transferring logical data  .

Communication channels.

Formal channel– Follow the official line of authority within the organization to transmit information.

Informal channel – Our brands and product information through unofficial social networks, often then referred to the grapevine.

Transmission channel – There are use channel digital marketing physical media,fiber,cable or wireless signal like as radio.

Verbal channel – Uses spoken word to face to face conversation phone call, video meeting.

Nonverbal channel – Communication without word in a body langue,

Face expression, tone of voice, visual aids.

Written channel – Use text of symbols, details of instruction or brands and product record.

Digital communication – Channel digital marketing is a technology that shares information rapidly and on a large scale.

Other type channels- Channel digital marketing is specific like an email, phone or instant messaging app depending on context.

Technical or transmission can be categorized into three types .

1.Physical medium. 2.Direction of data flow. 3.Method of data transfer.

Physical medium – transmission channel divided by two types of categories.
1. Guided media 2. Unguided media
Guided media. These use a physical connection to guide a single specific path.

Unguided media – Their transmission single through air of free space without a physical conductor.

By method of data transferring .

Channels can also  categorize by how to actual bit and data transferring.

By direction of data flow. 

The classification defines how data is sent and received between devices.

Type of channel base of digital marketing.

Traditional marketing

there are non digital methods connecting and communicating with the audience and people.

1.Broadcasting media – Broadcast is a promotion of a brand and Product by audience in television and radio.

2.Print media – Their brand and product are promoted to holding,newspaper,magazine etc.

3.Outdoor advertisement – their advertisement for our product by billboard and transit.

4.Email media – this promoted your brand and product to connecting by email media.

Digital marketing

Digital marketing is the best service and advertisement for a brand and product.

  1. SEO – Search engine optimization is the promotion site of manually method on page, off page.
  2. SMO – Search media optimization is a promoted brand of social media.
  3. SMM – Search media marketing is a promoted brand in the market.
  4. SEM – Search engine marketing promotes  your site in marketing.
  5. PPC – Pay per click Provide firstly traffic on your site and organic result. (google ad, Facebook ad, Instagram ad etc.)
